Science Vocabulary Upgrade: Story
This lesson plan was created by a teacher taking one of my Lesson Upgrade classes over Dan Pink’s A Whole New Mind.
The basic overview is using Latin science vocabulary to create a short story. I think that students are more apt to remember vocabulary if they use it in a creative manner, such as making an original short story that uses those words. Mankind has been raised on stories starting with the campfires of cavemen. This lesson plan is an excellent use of that desire for stories.
