Symphony, Meaning, and NASA

How cool would it be for your science students to help NASA explore Mars?

That’s exactly what has happened with these Florida Freshmen.

The contest, sponsored by Space Florida, encourages students to develop projects that can be used in space exploration.  This group from Golden Gate High School won the contest, and are shipping their project to the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in Utah.

NASA engineers will tweak the student design for energy production and transmit the scientific results from their experiment back to the students.

I can’t think of a project that could provide more Meaning or Symphony.  They are helping to do something larger than themselves, and they are combining vast amounts of information into a unique product.  Dan Pink’s Right-brain aptitudes in action!
