The Fun Theory

You really should check these videos out.  When Daniel Pink mentions the aptitude of “Play” in A Whole New Mind, he had to mean something like this.  It really puts the theory of fun into some practical applications.  I know there are uses for the classroom and a place for the Fun Theory in our lesson plans.
My personal favorite is the experiment with piano stairs, where they try to make people take the stairs more often by turning them into a large keyboard.  There are examples of a recycling game and the world’s deepest trash bin.  And…they were all successful!  People really do things if they are fun.  So why not instill that aptitude in our students?
