In education we love to follow the latest fads in technology. At most of the conferences and professional development I have attended over the past year, Twitter was always presented as an instructional technology of the future.
But if you read through this article, you’ll find that only 21% of Twitter users are classified as “active”. So is this a tool that will help prepare my students for the future? Or is it another technology going the way of My Space?

I think that my current students will be able to approach the future with a much better mindset. No matter what tools are available, they will be able to put them to good use.Share
